M. D. Indraprastha Institute For Higher Education has a well established library, having ever increasing collection and wide range of books on various topics. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty members and the trainees. The institute’s library has a collection of various books, volumes of journals, encyclopedias, research and survey reports, reference books, magazines etc.
The library has developed an extensive CD database of book volumes and abstracts of leading journals. We also provide Book Bank facility to our students.
There are 2330 books available for students and 820 reference books are available for Staff in the Library. There are 8 Educational Journals/Periodicals subscribed and 8 Encyclopedias available in the Library. The Seating capacity of Library is 60 students approximately. Xerox facility is also available in the library for the benefit of students and faculty members.
We believe books are, apart from the work and influence of the teacher, the chief instrument of Education. That is why our college lays a great importance on the maintenance of a quality Library.
